Dylan Andrew Potter, 19, of Wister died Saturday, April 5, 2014, in Wister. Dylan was born Nov. 7, 1994, in Poteau to Charles Andrew Jr. and Joanie Marie (Phillips) Potter. He worked in construction. Dylan was preceded in death by his brother, Riley Andrew Potter; maternal great-grandma, Easter Buckner “Grandma Buttons”; paternal grandfather, Charley Potter Sr.; paternal grandmother, Barbara Hays.
Survivors include his mother, Joanie Caudell and husband Mark of Wister; father, Charley Potter Jr. and wife Brandy of Hackett, Ark.; sisters, Shelby Potter of Hackett, Alia Caudell of Wister; three brothers, Lane Caudell of Wister, Waylon and Jesse Potter of Hackett, maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mildred Phillips; paternal grandmother, Esther Potter all of Poteau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, in Evans Chapel of Memories with Melvin Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Cameron. Pallbearers will be Dustin Osborn, George Espinel, Juan Meza, Marco Meza, Jody Lindsey and Aaron Lindsey.
Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, is handling arrangements.
