Eldon Eugene Maxwell

Eldon Eugene Maxwell, 65, of Bokoshe, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Eldon was born Feb. 25, 1949 in San Mateo, Calif., to L.D. and Carol (Leyva) Maxwell. He was a truck driver. Eldon was preceded in death by his father, L.D. and wife, Nan; sister, Sue Christian; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters, Pam and Cecil Sanders of Buffalo, Texas, Jammey and Tim Ducat of Houston, Texas, Samantha and Stacy Stinson of Madisonville, Texas, Avis Dobs of Sparta, Tenn.; Betty and Josh Griego of Teague, Texas; sons, Larry Maxwell of Teague, Texas, Floyd and Kellie Lay of Buffalo, Texas; mother, Carol Maxwell of Bokoshe; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; closer than a brother friend, Jerry Morgan of Iowa; nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Calvary Assembly of God in Poteau with the Revs. Stanley Odom and Lynn Bullard officiating.
Burial will be in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Floyd Wayne, Stanley Real, Jerry Lovell, Tod Cauthron, Bruce Blaylock and Robert Harper. Honorary pallbearer will be Will Stacy.  
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
