Erica Ladd Duke

Erica Ladd Duke of Spiro was born Feb. 5, 1987, in Poteau to Eric and Debbie (Queener) Ladd. She died Feb. 25, 2013, in Spiro. She was 26.
She is survived by her husband, Brandon of the home; one daughter, Aubrey Duke of Spiro; one son, Carson Duke of Spiro; parents, Eric Ladd and wife Carolyn of Cameron, Debbie Akers and husband Doyal of Spiro; four sisters, Amber Gonzalez and husband Al of Cameron, Laci Cameron of Cameron, Tarah Fruen and husband Brandon of Cameron, Alexia Brooks of Spiro; two brothers, Chase Ladd and wife Adrienne of Cameron, Taylor Cox and wife Stephanie of Poteau; and grandparents, David Ladd and wife Wanda of Whitefield and Eugene Queener of Spiro. 
Erica was a 2005 graduate of Keota High School, where she played basketball, softball and cheered. She was a 2007 graduate of Carl Albert State College, where she was a cheerleader. She enlisted in the Navy in 2010. She was preceded in death by her unborn daughter, Camdyn Brookleigh Duke, paternal grandmother Ruth Ann Ladd and maternal grandmother Phyllis Queener.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 2, at Victory Worship Center, Spiro, with the Revs. Josh McElyea and Bryan Fouts officiating. Burial will be in Tamaha Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Chase Ladd, Darrin Bercher, Colby Grant, Cody Hale and Gary Duke.
Family will visit with friends Friday from 6-8 p.m at the funeral home.
