Esther Therese Percifield-Kuykendall

Esther Therese Percifield-Kuykendall, 78, of Wister died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, in Poteau. Esther was born July 14, 1933, in New York Mills, Minn., to Brynolf and Esther (Blomberg) Hill. She was retired from the Kerr Conference Center. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Doug Percifield, and second husband, J.C. Kuykendall.
Survivors include her son, Doug Percifield and fiancé Theresa of Wister; daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Kaiser of Duluth, Minn., Terri Cantrell of Waterford, Calif., Rita Toney of Oakdale, Calif.; grandchildren, Vicki Holtz, Becky Revier, Nicholas Olson, Katie, Blake, Kylie, and Kacie Percifield, Jill Stott, and Whitney Ridgeway; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Moody of Rochester, Minn., Alice Rieckmann of Horicon, Wis., Mary Ann Robnik of Esko, Minn..
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the First Southern Baptist Church in Wister with the Revs. Don Taylor and Frankie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Monroe. Pallbearers will be Dennis Dodson, Freddie Nelson, Shawn Goad, Shane Turnipseed, Scott Shadwick, and Johnny Free.
The family will visit with relatives and friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
