Food, music, fun to benefit Radley O'Neal

September 20, 2013

Friends are coming together to stage a fundraiser for the family of Radley O'Neal, a Hartford, Ark., first-grader who is undergoing cancer treatments.
The barbecue dinner — including live music, games and a silent auction — will be held from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Hartford fire station. Dinner will be $5.
Radley has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma — cancer of the connective tissue. He is the son of Kendall and Vanessa Black O’Neal and the grandson of Gary and Mary Radley and Jack and Brenda Sweeten.
Radley undergoes daily radiation at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and weekly chemo treatments at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Proceeds will go to the family for travel, meals and medical expenses.
Music will be provided by Steve Clark and members of Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes, Formatic and Barely Can Playboys.
Other activities include Bruno the Bull, Bounce Arounds, carnival-style games, face painting, raffles, pie auction, silent auction and more, according to organizers
