Former Poteau football player to play in 2012 all-star game

JuniorRank is very proud to announce Bobby Joe Mendoza, an eighth-grade student at Highland Rim Middle School in Fayetteville Tenn., will be participating in our 2012 Junior Academic All-American Game, presented by Russell Athletic, on Jan. 2, 2012, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Our scouts have looked all over the country for the best young talent and due to the success that Mendoza, who is a former Poteau resident, on and off the field we are proud to invite him to Phoenix. He will showcase his talents inside the retractable roof stadium of Phoenix’s Chase Field (the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks), along with the very top junior high school student athletes around the country. This honor is distinctive because no other youth game in the country has an academic and character related requirement for All-American selection.
