Frances Ellen Anderton Buchanan

Frances Ellen Anderton Buchanan, 76, of Quinlan, Texas, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
She was born July 17, 1936, in Keota to Otto E. and Okla (Christenberry) Brigance. Frances owned and operated Jimmie Anderton Grass Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church of Poetry, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Albert Brigance; and sister-in-law, Lola Brigance.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Buchanan of Poteau; daughter and son-in-law, Wilma and Ron Smith of Greenville, Texas; sons, James Anderton and wife, Sharon, of Quinlan, Texas, Darrell Anderton of Quinlan; brothers, James Brigance of Henderson, Nev., Louis Brigance and wife, Sue, of Stigler, Loyd Brigance and wife, Linda, of Greenville, Texas; sister, Patsy Anderton of Royse City, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Green, Jeff Williams, Melissa Warden, Jimmie Anderton, Justin Anderton, Megan Anderton and jared Anderton; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rockwall Chapel in Rockwall, Texas, with Pastor Shawn Risinger officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Keota Cemetery.
