Frank Ham Jr.

Frank Ham Jr. was born in Chickasha toHomer and Lorene (Hillis) Ham. He diedsurrounded by his family on Aug. 24, 2011in Panama. He was 71.Frank had a strong love for his familyand an extra special place in his heart forhis many great-grandchildren. He had aspecial bond with each of them and washappiest when he was spoiling the babies.He spent this last year doing just what heloved, spending time with his family andbreaking horses, which he had an extraspecial talent for. Anyone that watched himwith horses would see that he had anextraordinary talent and natural ability thatwas unsurpassed.Frank is survived by his wife of 51years, Margaret. In his final days you couldsee the deep love they shared as he wouldlight up each time she was near him. He isalso survived by four children; ReneSeckman (Mike), Bart Ham (Tami), FrankieKnowles (Steve), and Sonya Ham (AllenPotter). He is survived by nine grandchildren,Shana Jamison, Christopher Seckman,Kyle Knowles, Cody Knowles, ZacharyHam, Tyler Ham, Cherie’ Grant, ShalieTaylor, and Katy Coker. He was fortunateenough to have nine great-grandchildren.They were extra special to him: Andie andParker Jamison, Zachary Ham Jr. andHailey Ham, Trey Grant,Levi and ShyAnn Taylor,Oliviah Knowles, andTynley Knowles.He leaves behind hisbrother, Curtis Ham, andtwo sisters, Patricia Griffinand Cathy Johnson, as wellas numerous nieces andnephews.He was preceded in death by his parents,sister Dorothy Riley and niece Sue Kester.Frank was a true cowboy. He was strongand tough, but also sensitive and loving.He will be greatly missed by each andeveryone who was blessed to have had himin their lives. He is somewhere out there ona beautiful horse. He has ridden into all ofour hearts and this is where he will alwaysremain.Services will be held at Solid RockPentecostal Church, Panama, at 2 p.m.Monday, Aug. 29, with The Rev. TimPainter officiating. Interment will follow atOld Bokoshe Cemetery, Bokoshe. Thefamily will visit with friends from 3 to 5p.m. Sunday at Grace Manor FuneralHome. Services are under the direction ofGrace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau.Condolences may be left for the family
