Free genealogy workshop to be held at KTC

May 13, 2014

Al Hobaugh, chairman of the Cherokee West Genealogy Research and Development Association, will return to Poteau to conduct a free genealogy workshop May 27 at Kiamichi Technology Center.
Hobaugh said a similar workshop last drew a large attendance and led to a request for another one this year.
A free handout will be provided at the class. The three-hour workshop will start in the seminar room at 6 p.m. with the first 30 minutes being used as history class on the Western Cherokee Nation.
For more information call (918) 339-6333 or visit www.westerncherokees.com.
