Freeman Moore

Freeman Moore, 71, of Gans died May 1, 2014, in Muldrow. He was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Hartman, Ark., the son of Viola (Freeman) Moore and Jasper Moore. He was married to Peggy Joann Allen on Feb. 6, 1961, in Van Buren, Ark. He was employed by Gerber for 30 years and was of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Joann of the home; daughter, Cherry Southern of Gans; sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Shantel Moore of Poteau, Johnny and Krystal Moore of Gans; 10 grandchildren, LaRanda and husband David Morrow of Fort Smith, Ark., Amber and husband Jerod Phillips of Brushy, Brandon and wife Erin Burris of Gans, Paul Michael Cupp of Muldrow, Jason and wife Nita Moore of Gans, Victoria and husband Justin Mathews of Potwin, Kan., Trey Southern of Gans, Ashley Moore of Poteau, Evan and Ely Moore of Gans; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Callahan of Amber; brother and sister-in-law: Chester Lee and Karen Moore of Armona, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Jack, Jim and Berty Moore; and two sisters, Gracie Gregory and Coleda Langley. 
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, at Gans Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Chris Stevenson and Harold McKeehen officiating. Burial will be in Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Burris, Jason Moore, Trey Southern, Paul Michael Cupp, Jerod Phillips, David Morrow and Justin Mathews. Honorary Pallbearers will be Allan Rau, Bob Hill, Kenneth Gee and Dale Hill. 
Viewing will be from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Agent Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
