Friday’s High School Boys Basketball Roundup

TALIHINA — The Talihina Golden Tigers basketball team made it a happy homecoming Friday night on Chris Gillispie Court at Ray Henson Gymnasium. The Golden Tigers celebrated their big night with a 44-32 win over the Broken Bow Savages.
The Golden Tigers led from opening tip to final buzzer. Talihina led 14-12 after one period, 23-22 at halftime and 32-28 going into the fourth quarter.
Whitesboro 51, Quinton 39: In Whitesboro, the Bulldogs broke a 22-all halftime tie with an 11-4 third quarter to take a 33-26 lead going into the final period. Whitesboro’s lead was greater than 20 poins before the Savages made a late run against the Bulldogs’ reserves.
Stilwell 65, Spiro 58: In Stilwell, the Indians jumped out to a 20-15 lead after a period en route to a 37-29 halftime advantage.
The Bulldogs outscored the Indians 14-11 in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 48-43 going into the final period.
However, Stilwell outscored Spiro 17-15 in the fourth quarter to hang on for the win.
