Friday’s High School Girls Basketball Roundup

POCOLA — A fourth-quarter rally enabled the Pocola Lady Indians to earn a 35-31 come-from-behind victory over the Hartshorne Lady Miners on Friday night for Senior Night at the Pocola High School gym.
Down 24-21 after three periods, the Lady Indians outscored the Lady Miners 14-7 in the final quarter to get the win.
Spiro 59, Sallisaw 49: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs trailed most of the game. Philicea Mack’s free throw with 29 seconds left put Spiro ahead for the first time all night.
Trailing by 12 points in the second quarter, the Lady Bulldogs stayed within striking distance until their fourth-quarter rally lifted them to a come-from-behind win to celebrate homecoming.
Stigler 48, Heavener 41: In Heavener, the Lady Panthers spoiled Senior Night for the Lady Wolves.
Wilburton 61, Talihina 35: In Talihina, the Lady Diggers spoiled the Lady Golden Tigers’ chance at the outright Black Diamond Conference title. The two teams split the honor.
