Friday softball games rained out, canceled

September 23, 2013

DID NOT GET TO PLAY FRIDAY — Howe third baseman Taya Kellogg, top, is late in applying a tag of Pocola base runner Desi Carter off a pick-off throw from catcher Kerstein Hall during Monday afternoon's game in Pocola. Mother Nature was the big winner on Friday when it came to softball. Howe's home three-way with Smithville and Battiest was rained out.
Bokoshe canceled its home game with Cameron, while the Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs got a forfeited win over Haileyville.
Editor's note: Nothing was reported on Panama's Saturday games at the Hall of Fame Shootout by press time.
