ARKOMA — The good news for Arkoma coach Mark Weatherton,:his Mustangs played their best game of the season. Unfortunately for them, they're still seeking their first win.
The Kinta Eagles scored twice in the fifth inning to snatch a 4-3 win away from the Mustangs.
Hackett, Ark., 5, Pocola 1: In Hackett, the Indians committed seven errors on the day, aiding Hackett to its five runs — scoring once in the opening inning and twice in the third and fifth innings.
Editor's note — Heavener's home game Friday with Hartford, Ark., Leflore's home game with Battiest and Spiro's road game Saturday at Sallisaw were rained out. The Hartford-Heavener game will not be rescheduled, while no make-up date has been set for the Battiest-Leflore game or the Spiro-Sallisaw game.
