December 4, 2012

POCOLA — The Pocola Indians put a halt to the five-game winning streak of the Cameron Yellowjackets to celebrate homecoming with a 65-31 victory Friday night at the Pocola Gym.
The Indians had a 26-18 halftime lead, but outscored the Yellowjackets 17-0 in the third quarter to take a 53-18 lead into the final period.
Arkoma 63, Keota 52: In Arkoma, the Mustangs led 22-20 after a period and 33-27 at halftime. Then, Arkoma outscored Keota 30-25 in the second half.
Leflore 66, Pittsburg 30: In Pittsburg, the Savages jumped out to an 18-0 lead after a period and were never headed.
Editor's note — Bokoshe's boys had to forfeit to McCurtain due to lack of numbers. The Tigers also forfeited Monday night's game in the Eastern Oklahoma State College Classic to the Bulldogs for the same reason.
