Friday's High School Girls Basketball Roundup

WHITESBORO — The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs defeated fellow Lady Bulldogs from Clayton 49-31 Friday night.
Whitesboro only led by four points at 17-13 at halftime, but the LeFlore County Lady Bulldogs outscored the visiting Lady Bulldogs 17-5 in the third quarter to take a 34-18 lead into the final period.
Porum 58, Leflore 47: In Leflore, trailing 31-25 at halftime, the Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Savages 19-11 in the third quarter to take a 44-42 lead into the final period — in which Porum outscored Leflore 14-5 to seal the deal.
Editor's note: Nothing was reported on the final day of the Choctaw Nation Tournament in Talihina or the Heavener girls' title game at the Gary Ford Invitational in Hartford, Ark., by press time.
