POCOLA — The Cameron Lady Yellowjackets got their first win of the season, and in so doing spoiled Pocola's homecoming by winning 46-39 over the Lady Indians on Friday night at the Pocola Gym.
The Lady ’Jackets led practically the entire game, leading 8-6 after a period, 16-13 at halftime and 23-21 after three quarters.
Arkoma 52, Keota 49: In Arkoma, trailing 39-35 after three periods, the Lady Mustangs outscored the Lady Lions 17-10 in the final quarter to get the comeback win.
Bokoshe 64, McCurtain 44: In Bokoshe, the Lady Tigers had a 17-10 lead after a quarter, but they outscored the Lady Bulldogs 18-6 in the second period to take a 35-16 halftime lead — which became a 51-26 advantage going into the fourth quarter.
Pittsburg 43, Leflore 16: In Pittsburg, the Lady Savages fell behind 14-4 after a period and could not overcome the early deficit.
