Gaylon Cox, 77, of Hackett, Ark., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and a great grandson. Cox was a retired superintendent for Willard Mirror Co.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Old Union Cemetery near Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Georgia of the home; two sons, Duane Cox and Randy Cox; two daughters, Gayla Moses and husband Danny, and Ramona Holden and husband Randy, all of Cameron; a brother, Walter Medinas of Alaska; eight grandchildren, Lindsey Cox, Randa Mickle and husband Adam, Blaine Moses and wife Ashlea, Natalie Wilson and husband Matt, Taylor Moses, Terrell Flurry and wife Kayla, Morgan Chronister, and Randy Holden Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, Colton, Hagen, Kailen, Garrett, Ridgely, Gavin, Bridgette, Dillinger, and Lana; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Blaine Moses, Terrell Flurry, Morgan Chronister, Adam Mickle, Travis Graham, and Rocky Boggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Gross, Bud Gamble, Rick Yother, Louis Kirkendall, Doyle Slavens, Jim Womack and Buck and Michael Archey.
