George Edward Gage Jr.

George Edward Gage Jr., 65, of Wister died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, in Wister.

George was born June 12, 1949, in Concord, N.H., to George Edward Sr. and Flora Lucille (Follansbee) Gage. He retired after working for the State of New Hampshire for more than 20 years. He was a volunteer fireman in Loudon, N.H., for 10 years. George enjoyed horseback riding and riding his Gold Wing motorcycle. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. 

Survivors include his wife, Marie D. Gage of the home; sons, George E. Gage III and wife Donna of Wister, Peter Sidney Gage and wife Debra of Nashua, N.H.; brother-in-law, William S. Davis of Enfield, N.H.; stepbrother, Danny Dwinnells and wife Patricia of Loudon, N.H.; four grandchildren; one nephew; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles residing in New Hampshire.

There will be a time of visitation and sharing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at 103 Magnolia, Wister. 

Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, is handling arrangements.
