Gun season is in full swing now

Gun season is in full swing, and once again I have not laid eyes on a deer yet. We did have a good time camping with the family last weekend, and a few deer were killed even though that is not the main reason I go camping with my family. I know I could kill more deer if I left the kids at home, but that just would not be right.
I really like it when the kids have a good time camping because at my age it is not about me, it is about them. Even though them poking in the fire or riding four wheelers around is a bit annoying, I know that I would rather them be camping at 13 and 15 than what other kids that age are doing.
