Halloween event to add park movie

October 3, 2012

Organizers of the downtown trick-or-treat event have added a free movie at Pocket Park to the annual festivity.

This year's downtown trick-or-treat event will have a new twist – a free movie in the Pocket Park, according to Keri Powers, Poteau Main Street executive director.
The Halloween treating will run from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, with the movie, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," showing at 4:30 p.m., Powers said.
Children and families are invited to visit downtown businesses for treats during the annual event.
