HOWE — It was a happy homecoming for the Howe High School basketball teams Friday night at the Howe Gym as they took a pair of games from Cameron.
The Lions avenged an earlier loss to the Yellowjackets by holding off the visitors 60-56 in the first game of the night, then the Lady Lions took care of the Lady ’Jackets 65-24.
During the homecoming ceremonies, Howe Girls Coach Chris Brown was recognized by several of his former players for his 300th coaching win last month in the title game of the Wilburton Tournament.
