Hartshorne man charged with second degree rape

Talihina Police Department arrested Lenard Ray Bond, 18, of Harsthorne, after they allegedly caught him having a sexual relationship with girl under the age of 14.

Lenard Ray Bond, 18, of Hartshorne, was formally charged with second degree rape after allegations of a sexual relationship a minor girl from Talihina.
According to the affidavit, Talihina Police Officers noticed Bond's vehicle at the girls home and when they knocked on the door, Bond went out the back door. Bond was unable to go far as officer Rodney Faulkenberry was in the back yard and detained him.
Bond allegedly admitted to the allegations.
He is being held on a $15,000 bond at the LeFlore County Sheriff's Department.
