It has a horn and blends in with the surroundings, but this rhino requires gasoline.
Burel and Sue Lovell had their 2012 Yamaha Rhino stolen overnight Jan. 2 and they want it back.
The Farm Bureau Insurance Agency is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for taking the camouflage-painted Rhino from the Lovell's property. The couple lives in McCurtain.
“It has oversized tires and a fold-down plastic windshield,” said Burel Lovell. “I'm sure they took it into LeFlore County. That's the way the tracks went.”
He said that he had parked the Rhino within 50 yards of the house after he finished using it and left the trailer hooked to it. The thieves unhooked the trailer and pushed the Rhino out into the driveway and down the road, where they most likely loaded it onto a trailer.
If anyone has any information about the Rhino, call the Haskell County Sheriff's office at (918) 967-2400.
