Hazel Lee Jenkins

Hazel Lee Jenkins, 89, of Poteau died Thursday, March 22, 2012, in Poteau.
Hazel was born in McCurtain on Aug. 27, 1922, to Charles Benjamin and Lorena Bell (Crabtree) Barkley. She was a homemaker.  Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, L. Howard “Jr.” Jenkins; daughters, Brenda D. Thompson and Ola Dean Webb; son, Kenneth D. Rogers; sister, Vivian Poe; and brothers, Marvin Barkley and Othel Barkley.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Bob and Nelda Rogers of Carlsbad, N.M., Charles H. and Wanda Rogers of Oilton, Tommy and Kim Jenkins of Poteau; daughter, Etta Jane Johnson of Tulsa; brother, Harold Barkley; numerous nieces and nephews; many grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
