Health and Emergency Expo to be held at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds

September 11, 2012

Upcoming Health and Emergency Expo will be held at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds on Sept. 15.

The 2nd Annual Health and Emergency Expo will be held in a new location this year to accommodate more activities, vendors and demonstrations.
According to Dave Grovdahl, LeFlore County EMS director, the new location was needed as the expo grows. This year the event will be held at the LeFlore County Fairgrounds south of Poteau.
According to Grovdahl, there will be health and safety information booths and entertainment for children and adults.
Arts and crafts vendors will be on site and exhibits will be on display by fire, police and EMS.
Also during the expo the Safe Kids Oklahoma organization will be giving away children's car seats on a first-come first-serve basis for families receiving government aid in return for a $10 donation.
The event will kick off at 10 a.m. on Sept. 15 and will conclude at 2 p.m. Admission is free to all.
