Heavener boys lose to Westville in Class 3A regional consolation finals to see season end; Lady Wolves' season concludes with loss to Vian

MUSKOGEE — The Heavener Wolves basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 46-40 loss Monday afternoon to the Westville Yellowjackets in the consolation finals of the Class 3A Regional Tournament at the Muskogee Civic Center.
The Wolves, who end the season at 18-9, opened the regional tournament with a 58-42 loss to the Kansas Comets on Friday night, but bounced back with a thrilling 50-49 overtime win over the Vian Wolverines on Saturday afternoon.
The season came to a close for the Heavener Lady Wolves as they suffered a 63-30 defeat to the Vian Lady Wolverines. The Lady Wolves ended with a 7-19 record.
