Heavener boys rout Hackett to reach championship game; Lady Wolves snap six-game losing streak to make consolation title contest

MANSFIELD, Ark. — The Heavener Wolves basketball team will have a chance to bring home some hardware today.
The Wolves routed Hackett, Ark., 62-31 Friday afternoon in the semifinals to reach the championship game of the Bill Frye Invitational. The Wolves will play in the title game at 5:30 this afternoon where they will play the winner of Friday night's Mansfield-Booneville game.
The Heavener Lady Wolves ended a six-game losing streak by defeating Hackett 58-49 in Friday's consolation semifinals to advance to this morning's consolation finals at 10 a.m. Heavener will play the winner of Friday's game between Booneville and Hartford.
