April 10, 2012

FORT GIBSON — When the Fort Gibson Tigers beat the Poteau Pirates on March 30, that win put the Tigers into the driver's seat for the district title. But along came the Heavener Wolves.
The Wolves pulled a shocker on the Tigers and defeated them 3-2 in a shootout Friday night.
The Lady Tigers earned a split for Fort Gibson with a 5-0 victory over the Lady Wolves.
The Lady Wolves will return to action in a road district game at 6 p.m. tonight at Keys (Park Hill).
The Wolves won't return to action until their home district contest against Westville at 7 p.m. Friday at Harvey Stadium.
