Heavener girls beat Arkoma, but lose to Vian — which goes undefeated in three-way

March 20, 2012

HEAVENER — The Vian Lady Wolverines were the team which left Friday afternoon's three-way with the host Heavener Lady Wolves and the Arkoma Lady Mustangs undefeated. Vian run ruled the Lady Mustangs 11-3, then did likewise to the Lady Wolves 17-3. In an all-LeFlore County match-up, Heavener blanked Arkoma 9-0.
Editor's Note — Spiro's home game with Muldrow did not take place Friday, and will likely not be rescheduled. Also, Monday's doubleheader with Howe at Red Oak was rained out and will likely not be rescheduled.
