Heavener girls beat Bokoshe to reach today's fifth-place game; Panama, Arkoma boys, Pocola girls win consolation semifinals at CASC

The Heavener Lady Wolves will have a shot at being a trophy team in the 82nd LeFlore County Tournament in Friday's fifth-place game on Chris Gillespie Court at Ray Henson Gymnasium.
The Lady Wolves beat the Bokoshe Lady Tigers 51-40 Wednesday night at Carl Albert State College's Mick Thompson Fieldhouse to earn a shot at fifth place at 4:40 p.m. Friday in Talihina against Arkoma.
Three other locals, the Panama Razorbacks, the Arkoma Mustangs and the Pocola Lady Indians earned shots at being among the first trophy teams of this year's event as they made it to Thursday's consolation finals by winning games Wednesday at CASC.
The Hogs slipped past the Cameron Yellowjackets 58-57, while the Mustangs corralled the Wister Wildcats 55-51. Panama and Arkoma played Thursday night in Talihina for the consolation championship.
The Lady Indians defeated the Leflore Lady Savages 46-32 to earn a berth in Thursday afternoon's consolation final against Wister in Talihina.
