HEAVENER — The Heavener Lady Wolves softball team went undefeated on the final day of the Class 5A District Tournament to claim the title on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Wolves, who beat Spiro on Thursday before a hailstorm canceled the rest of the tournament until Friday, won both games from Stigler, 12-1 and 12-4, to win the district title, and advance to this week's Class 5A Regional Tournament — which will be Thursday in Heavener.
The season ended for the Lady Bulldogs as they lost the first game played on Friday, falling 6-3 to the Lady Panthers.
