Heavener girls reach title game of Gary Ford Invitational; Weather reschedules tournament games for HHS teams; Heavener's schedule revised

December 6, 2013

HARTFORD, Ark. — The Heavener Lady Wolves reached the title game of the Gary Ford Invitational on Wednesday night with a 68-23 rout of the host team from Hartford.
The rest of the tournament action for the week for both the Wolves and Lady Wolves have been rescheduled due to the inclement weather.
The Lady Wolves' title game will take place at noon Dec. 14 instead of this Saturday. The final game for the Wolves in the event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Also, the Heavener schedule has been revised due to football playoffs of their opponents. The road games at Idabel that were scheduled for Dec. 21 will take place at 6:30 and 8 p.m. next Friday.
The road games at Talihina that were scheduled for tonight will take place at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Dec. 20 unless the Golden Tigers make it to the Class A state title game — which would be the following day.
