April 3, 2013

IDABEL — Three Heavener Wolves were able to hit the links Tuesday before the rain hit at the Valliant Invitational at the Idabel Country Club.
Jackson Long shot an 86, and likely will finish in the top 15 but not high enough to medal.
Colt Dunigan shot a 96, while Chance Dunigan carded a 106.
Poteau's golf teams were rained out of their respective tournaments on Tuesday, the Pirates at the Fort Gibson Tournament and the Lady Pirates at the Hilldale Invitational in Muskogee.
The Fort Gibson Invitational has not been rescheduled, but the Hilldale Invitational for the Lady Pirates has been rescheduled for Friday.
The Poteau Girls Invitational, which was slated for Thursday at Choctaw Country Club, has been rescheduled for April 19.
