Heavener man sentenced to ten years for rape

Willie Amos, 62, of Heavener, was sentenced to ten years in prison Wednesday after he entered a plea of guilty to second-degree rape.

A man accused of second-degree rape involving a victim under the age of 16 has entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Willie Amos, 62, of Heavener, entered a plea of guilty on Wednesday in front of District Judge Jon Sullivan. Sullivan sentenced Amos to 10 years in prison.
Amos has also been issued fines in the case and will be required to register as a sex offender when released from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
