Heavener teams garner top seeds in 2014 LeFlore County Junior High Tournament

The Heavener Wolves and Lady Wolves garnered the top seeds in next month's LeFlore County Junior High Tournament at Wednesday night's seeding meeting at Western Sizzlin'.
On the boys side, Heavener is the top-seeded team, with Monroe second, Wister third, Talihina fourth and Howe fifth.
The next five seeds are Whitesboro sixth, Poteau/Pansy Kidd Middle School seventh, Pocola eighth, Spiro ninth and Arkoma 10th.
Panama is the 11th seed, followed by Hodgen with the 12th seed, Shady Point 13th, Cameron 14th, Fanshawe 15th, Bokoshe 16th and Leflore 17th. Bokoshe and Leflore will play the play-in game sometime before the tournament begins next month.
The Lady Wolves are No. 1 on the girls side, followed by Poteau/Pansy Kidd Middle School in second, Spiro third, Hodgen fourth and Wister fifth.
Talihina, Howe, Bokoshe, Fanshawe and Pocola are seeds No. 6 through No. 10, respectively.
Rounding out the seeds are Cameron 11th, Whitesboro 12th, Monroe 13th, Shady Point 14th, Leflore 15th, Panama 16th and Arkoma 17th. Panama and Arkoma will meet in the play-in game sometime before the tournament gets underway Jan. 6.
