Heavener Wolves to be in three-way scrimmage tonight at Haileyville along with Wilburton Diggers

August 17, 2012

The new Class 3A Heavener Wolves along with new their new football coach, Carl Lee, will get their first chance to go against someone else when they participate in a three-way scrimmage at 6 p.m. tonight in Haileyville with Wilburton.
The key thing in tonight's scrimmage from Lee's perspective is blocking and alignments.
“We just need to see if we can get lined up right, offensively and defensively,” he said. “We're mainly going to be working on our blocking and alignment. We need to make sure we're getting our base stuff down. We're going to try to do what we need to do — run the football and stop the run. That's our goal.”
