HOWE — The Howe Lions picked up a home win Tuesday afternoon with a 9-2 win over the Arkoma Mustangs at Lions Field.
Leflore 13, Clayton 8: Tuesday in Leflore, the Savages rallied from a 3-0 first-inning deficit to get the come-from-behind win.
Wister 17, Hartford, Ark., 0: Tuesday in Hartford, the Wildcats (13-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead after an inning, and ended the game with an eight-run third inning.
Jon Watts got the win as he pitched a no-hitter with six strikeouts. He missed by one batter of having a perfect game.
Soper 15, Whitesboro 3; Buffalo Valley 10, Whitesboro 9: Tuesday in Buffalo Valley, the Bulldogs droppped a pair of games. In the loss to Soper, the ‘Dogs were down 6-3 in the fifth inning, but the Red Bears scored the game's final nine runs to win going away.
In the loss to Buffalo Valley, the Buffaloes broke a 9-9 tie with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Leflore 3, Crowder 1: Monday in Crowder, the Savages took a 2-0 lead on a two-RBI single by Dakota Watson. Caleb Smith's RBI single in the second inning made it 3-0.
Kinta 14, Bokoshe 0; Kinta 17, Bokoshe 3: Tuesday in Kinta, the Eagles swept the Tigers.
