PANAMA — The Panama Razorbacks baseball team bounced back from its tough road loss Thursday to Cameron to handle the Panola Bearcats 12-2.
The Razorbacks scored three runs in the opening inning for a 3-0 lead and never trailed.
Hartford, Ark., 13, Arkoma 1: Friday in Arkoma, the Mustangs fell behind 6-0 by the third inning before Josh Marion scored Arkoma's lone run on an error in the third inning.
Heavener 9, Buffalo Valley 4; Kiowa 16, Heavener 6: Friday in Kiowa, the Wolves split Friday's games.
Spiro 9, Sallisaw-Central 8: Friday in Sallisaw, the Bulldogs rallied from an 8-5 deficit after six innings with a four-run seventh inning.
Smithville 3, Cameron 1: Friday in Cameron, the Yellowjackets took a 1-0 lead on Zack McCormick's RBI grounder in the first inning, but the Braves scored twice in the second and once in the fourth to get the come-from-behind win.
Crowder 15, Leflore 7: Friday in Crowder, the Savages suffered their first loss of the season.
Stigler 10, Heavener 6: Thursday in Stigler, the Panthers, who trailed 6-4 in the fifth inning, scored four runs in the fifth inning and two more runs in the sixth to get the come-from-behind win.
Monday's games canceled due to wet fields
Four of Monday's games, Heavener at Pocola, Kinta at Panama, Smithville at Wister and Cameron at Sallisaw-Central, were canceled due to wet fields, with no make-up dates scheduled.
