ARKOMA — The Arkoma Mustangs were able to outlast the visiting Wister Wildcats for a 51-42 victory Tuesday night at the Arkoma Gym.
The Mustangs jumped out to a 7-6 lead after a period and slowly increased their lead from there.
Howe 80, Panama 36: Tuesday night in Panama, the Lions kept their record unblemished, thanks to a 22-7 lead after a period.
Talihina 61, Pocola 53: Tuesday night in Pocola, the Golden Tigers, winners of three straight, rallied from a 25-18 halftime deficit by outscoring the Indians by 13 points, 43-30, in the second half to get the come-from-behind win.
Spiro 60, Stilwell 54: Tuesday night in Spiro, the Bulldogs kept their undefeated record intact as they outlasted the Indians. Spiro trailed 13-11 after a period, but outscored Stilwell 18-13 in the second period for a 29-26 halftime lead. The ’Dogs then outscored the Indians 31-28 in the second half.
Keota 78, Cameron 57: Tuesday night in Keota, the Lions, who trailed 28-26 at halftime, doubled the Yellowjackets 32-16 in the third quarter to take a 58-44 lead into the final period.
Quinton 59, Bokoshe 31: Monday night in Quinton, nothing more was reported on the game.
