HARTFORD, Ark. — The goose egg left the win column for the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets on Thursday night as they got their first win of the season, beating Hartford, Ark., 45-34.
The Lady ’Jackets doubled Hartford 8-4 in the first quarter en route to a 23-15 halftime lead. Then, Cameron outscored Hartford 22-19 in the second half.
Pittsburg 69, Leflore 47: Friday night in Leflore, the Lady Panthers basically wore out the Lady Savages as they had nearly twice as many players as the locals. Pittsburg led only 48-41 going into the final period, but then outscored Leflore 21-6 in the fourth quarter to win going away.
Smithville 50, Wister 38: Friday night in Smithville, the Lady Braves jumped out to a 16-6 lead after a quarter and never lost their advantage.
Red Oak 62, Whitesboro 25: Thursday night in Red Oak, the Lady Eagles flew out to a 30-4 lead and were never headed.
