PANAMA — The only loss the Howe Lady Lions have suffered came in the semifinals of last month's Green Valley Conference Tournament to the Panama Lady Razorbacks. The Lady Lions avenged that loss, and did so on the Lady ’Backs' court with a 57-49 win Tuesday night.
The Lady Lions jumped out to an 11-5 lead after a period en route to a 27-15 halftime advantage.
Arkoma 67, Wister 40: Tuesday night in Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs rallied from a 13-10 first-quarter deficit to get the come-from-behind victory.
Pocola 43, Talihina 33: Tuesday night in Pocola, the Lady Indians jumped out to a 12-0 lead after a period and never lost their advantage.
Keota 47, Cameron 32: Tuesday night in Keota, the Lady Lions doubled the Lady Yellowjackets 12-6 after a period and never lost the lead.
Kinta 46, Whitesboro 35: Tuesday night in Kinta, the Lady Eagles rallied from a 20-18 halftime deficit to get the comeback win.
Quinton 81, Bokoshe 34: Monday night in Quinton, nothing more was reported on the game.
