FOUNTAINHEAD RESORT — Poteau Lady Pirate golfer Hannah Ward, the Class 4A defending state champion, was runner-up medalist at Wedneday’s Oktaha Invitational at Fountainhead Resort Golf Course. She shot a 75.
As a team, the Lady Pirates were fourth with a team score of 381.
Cathleen Manlove shot a 95 to be Poteau’s second-best golfer on the day. Alyssa Vineyard carded a 103, followed by Skylynn Terry wth a 108 and Jenna Stites with a 118.
Heavener Wolves compete in Henryetta
HENRYETTA — The Heavener Wolves participated in the Henryetta Eye Center Jeff Lawrence Classic on Thursday afternoon at the Henryetta Country Club.
Jackson Long had the best day with a 94. Colt Dunigan shot a 111, while Chance Dunigan carded a 113.
