PANAMA — The Pocola Lady Indians won their first game of the young season Tuesday afternoon, beating their archrivals, the Panama Lady Razorbacks, 11-0.
Pocola pitcher Brooklyn Morton threw a two-hit shutout for the Lady Indians, who jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning then put the game into run-rule status with a five-run sixth inning.
Whitesboro 4, Cameron 0: Tuesday in Whitesboro, the Lady Bulldogs kept their unbeaten record intact on the young season by breaking a scoreless tie with a run in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth inning.
Wister 12, Porum 10; Wister 16, Gans 2: Tuesday in Porum, the Lady ’Cats got their first wins of the year.
In the win over Porum, the Lady ’Cats rallied from a 5-0 first-inning deficit.
In the victory over Gans, Wister, leading 1-0 after an inning, broke the game open with a seven-run second inning to take an 8-0 lead.
Panama 4, Keota 0: Monday in Panama, the Lady Razorbacks won their season opener with a two-run third inning and single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
