High speed pursuit ends in crash, 1 arrest

March 14, 2014

Poteau Police put the brakes on speedster Timothy John Kaczynski, 24, of Poteau after he allegedly led them on more than a 30-minute chase.
Reaching speeds up to 90-miles per hour that continued through residential streets, Kaczynski led police through the north end of Poteau until he struck a tree and fled on foot, according to the police report.
Police said he was later found hiding behind a trash dumpster near the accident and was arrested.
