Howe boys stay close for first half, but fall short in state quarterfinals to No. 1 OKC Millwood Falcons

OKLAHOMA CITY — The good news for the Howe Lions in Thursday night's Class 2A State Tournament quarterfinal contest at Oklahoma City University was they went toe to toe with the No. 1 team in the state — the Oklahoma City Millwood Falcons — for most of the opening half. The bad news was the Falcons ended up flying past the Lions in the second half to a 66-46 victory.
