POCOLA — Third time was indeed a charm for the Howe Lions in their basketball game Monday night against the Pocola Indians at the Pocola High School gym.
After losing on their home court to the Indians before Christmas break and in the 81st LeFlore County Tournament, the Lions took the third match-up between the two teams — and in dominating fashion, posting a 72-53 victory.
The Lady Lions opened Monday night’s doubleheader by holding off the pesky Lady Indians 62-58.
