Howe, Whitesboro boys suffer eliminating losses in Eagle Classic; Cameron, Preston meeting in consolation semifinals today

RED OAK — It was a rough Friday afternoon for two LeFlore County baseball teams at the Eagle Classic at Eagle Field.
The Howe Lions suffered a 12-6 loss to the Crowder Demons in the consolation semifinals Friday afternoon.
The Demons reached the consolation semifinal Friday afternoon with a 17-9 win over the Whitesboro Bulldogs earlier in the day.
The Bulldogs lost their first game of the tournament Thursday afternoon 10-0 to the Stuart Hornets.
The only county team remaining, the Cameron Yellowjackets, will play the Preston Pirates at 11 a.m. this morning for the right to meet the Demons for the consolation championship at 1 p.m. this afternoon.
