HUGS program continues to grow

October 28, 2013

Wister High School 4-H member Adrianna Curnutt and National Honor Society classmate Colton Lynn spread out the many items they were able to purchase as part of this years HUGS (Hats, Underwear, Gloves and Socks) program. The program is co-sponsored by the LeFlore County Health Department and the clothing give-away was in conjunction with flu immunization day for small children. According to Curnutt, 1,902 items were given away Friday to area children.
