Hunting regulations and little fishing

November 14, 2013

HAPPY HORN — Aiyden Horn with his big catch, a big ol' perch, he caught last week. Photo Submitted by George Midgley

Gun season is fast approaching, Nov. 23-Dec. 8. Don’t forget your hunter education training, which is needed before you can hunt. Residents who are age 10 or older must complete hunter education certification training.
Time is running out — and you might need to do it online to get it done in time to hunt. Another last-minute thing you might need is a replacement hunter education card. Go to www.wildlifedepartment.com.

My great nephew, Aiyden Horn, caught a perch on a red worm last week at my dad's pond. Good job, Aiyden.
Have a great week!
